Arabic Language pack for 1.7.3

Hello,
I have uploaded the language pack of the Arabic version and followed the tutorial available to use multilingual joomla with language switcher.

however the Arabic flag is not showing in the switcher and I can only use the english version of it, any help will be appreciated.

Please check the following directory

all flags images should be found here

do you see the file: ar.gif?

Actually the flag is shown in the administrator panel, however it doesnt show in the front-end also if I change from flag selection style to drop down menu it doesnt show Arabic , the only language is English.

thanks to feras, he found the issue :
I was typing the language tag: ar-ِِAA

If you copy it to notpad and make the font big enough you will see your mistake

it should be ar-AA
