Default access lev. for menu type: Create Article

Post by MarioMari » Thu Mar 29, 2012 7:55 am

Hi!
Could someone explain to me where he makes a mistake.
I do not know how to organize access rights for the work required to effect isolation of the access to different sets of teams.

I added a new type of menu: Create Article (Submit Article).
When setting up the menu by the administrator, in the Basic Settings can be set to force a default category for the article. How can I force the default level Acces this new article?

Thank You

OK. Update Joomla! 2.5.4 to organize the case set the default category for new article. Now it works a lot more understandable for me. Now, with the inherited settings can now set the category you need to set category view for a limited group of users. Tank You!

But I still do not know how to wim you limit or impose a new article declarant Access Level needed for this new article which forms?

Pleas help Me!

And if they ask the question? :)

Can I use Joomla! Administrator panel to configure adding new articles in a way that one user or group had a filtered list of Viewing Access Levels.

It refers to adding new article by menu item.

Cheers!

Does anyone know which of the options in the Permission shall be responsible for the Access Level field in the form of a new article?

If I understand your question correctly, then you should set the default access level on the category in the Category Manager. If you want only certain groups to be permitted to create a new article and that same group to be the only one permitted to view the created article, then set the default category's access level to that group.

I created a similar setup, but the created articles were available for everyone (the article category had an access level of public). Only a certain group could create articles, but everyone could view the created article. If I wanted only a particular group to have access to the newly created article, then I would set the article category access level to that group and not public.

Does this help?

I believe that this is what you want:
When a member of Group Blue chooses "New Article" from a menu, the default Category for that Article will be Sky.
When a member of Group Green chooses "New Article" from a menu, the default Category for that Article will be Grass.
And so on.
Is this correct?
