how do i let users log in in different access levels?

Post by rlockc » Mon Mar 04, 2013 4:14 pm

here is my issue
i need 4 different users: publishers, comisionist, managers, publicists
my question is how can i let every group to log in each group? not to assigning manually myself.
for example group plublishers to log in and be in their seccion and so on for every group.
do i asign a log in form for everygroup or how do i manage every group automatically?

I'm not totally sure I understand your question, so bear that in mind when you read my answer...

Separate logins are not required.

Users are given priviledges by the group(s) into which you place them, and yes, they CAN belong to more than 1 group.

thanks for your fast response, if separate logins are not requiered, how do i let different users to sign in, in their respective groups? I am looking for something more automatically not assign manually for every user. For example let users comisionists sign in as comisionist and publicists as publicists without assigning manually to their group? this can be easy done if dealing with dozens of users groups but what about if thousands of users for every group?

Think about it, if there's a reason to separate them at all, why would you let me join whatever group I want? What keeps me from having four accounts in 4 different groups?

And if that doesn't matter, forget about permissions and just make everything public.
