Joomla Documentation Team: Help screens for J 1.7 [solved]

Post by dextercowley » Sun Jun 05, 2011 3:26 am

The official English help screens are hosted and served from the documentation wiki at http://docs.joomla.org. We have a short job that needs doing to set us up for the impending release of Joomla 1.7. We need to set up new help screen pages on the wiki for this latest version. Since there are no substantial changes in the user interface between Joomla 1.6 and 1.7, this will simply involve adding pages to the wiki that pull in content from the older pages. This will probably only take a couple of hours but it would help us greatly if you can spare the time.

Prior experience with MediaWiki is desirable, but not essential as we'll show you exactly what you need to do. No Joomla experience is required.

If you'd like to take on this straightforward but valuable task, then send an email to [email protected].
