Dear Members and Specially the administrator at Joomla.

I have been a member here at the forum for the past couple of months since February, 2017.

All i did was helping around people and getting help.

Today all of a sudden i get an inbox message from the admin that i have been issued a warning and all my posts have been deleted.

Well i have gone through the posts as well and did not see any issues with them except for a couple may be.

I would request the admin to please consider my account again and restore my posts.

Regards.

Sorry for the bad feeling about your removed messages.

I've looked your messages that have been reported and deleted. Most of them were general SEO and WordPress related messages. They did not add any value to the topics being discussed.

Joomla forum is about Joomla. And we do not allow useless posts.

If you want to share your Joomla knowledge in a useful way, please think about a way that other users can really use your Joomla related knowledge. Users who add useless content and/or links to non related websites usually end with removed messages, a forum warning and/or even a banned account.

And users who posts links to their own site even when it is relevant :-[

Yes, you are right. A relevant reference to a useful blog post or article on your own site is considered as self promotion and will be removed. Thanks to misuse in the past. Furthermore, such links tend to change in 404 errors over time, making them useless.

If you want to contribute your useful knowledge without self promotion, please consider to add it to the documentation website: https://docs.joomla.org/Main_Page

Well, the posts i made were on the thread which asked for how to bring traffic to a website and how to get backlinks.
People had their views and suggestions i had mine. Even people liked my suggestion on one of my threads. If that was not helpful then why did someone bother to do that.

Even the admin deleted my post for introduction which almost all forums allow a user to make.

I would again appeal sincerely to please restore my messages and consider giving a warning only if you feel that way.

lets see what the Forum Rules (http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=65), "No useless posts. This includes: Thread bumping, useless one liners, Flamewars, Trolling and Spamming."

i suggest you read the entire sticky post.

so that also includes p4p, political posts and general +1 posts in a topic that have been repeated numerous times before.
it does state that when you sign up the board owners may 'grant' you the rights to post in the forums but i am sure if you look in the members list you will see all those who have had that grant removed.
HU2HY- Poor questions = Poor answer
Un requested Help PM's will be added to the foe list and possibly just deleted

I did not make any spam posts or useless posts. I did post on threads which asked for recommendations or tips. Did not even start my own thread for that matter.
Please reconsider the penalty. And would request to restore my posts.

Sorry, but no.
Your posts had been reported by one or more other forum users.
Multiple moderators have checked your messages and all considered them as useless.

If you want to contribute in a useful way in Joomla forum, please provide clear, on topic, Joomla related advice.
