hi im new here can anybody tell me where to go to add a customized picture in profile?

Welcome to the Joomla! forum.

I believe that you are referring to the avatar (ie profile picture) in your account in this forum. If so, click on the link User Control Panel. In the resultant page you would notice tabs and click on the tab "Profile". When you click on the link "Edit Avatar" you would be seeing options to upload your avatar.
