You can find it from User Control Panel - Profile - Edit Signature.

Re: Signature
Apparently you need to make 5 or 10 posts before you see the option in the profile to edit your signature.
That must be the reason why some newcomers post a number of off-topic messages like "Wonderful illustrated information. I thank you about that" that I saw today.

Re: Can't Add a Signature to my Profile
Seems like the kind of question that should be included in the FAQ?

To prevent signature spam, the amount of posts you need before being able to add a signature is 25

hello everyone , please guys do read the previous posts before posting new questions , what's this mess ? I saw all kinds of answers , some say 5 , 10 some says 25 !! some says 50 posts ! . you can just disable signature at all for everyone
it's an easy option to lower spam & lower posts related to this

Re: why signature can not be added?
some say that we should implement a system where those who dont read http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=65 signature section in conjunction with this topic, and post back wards and forwards about how many / where etc and then make xnumber of hurried posts should just be banned, or have a test to prove they make good, educated, well thought out posts and then request the signature option is available along with the signature they want to use. else they will just be tempted to add manual signatures to their posts.jean_pierre wrote: you can just disable signature at all for everyone
others say, its up to the leadership to set the rules and the figure required may go up as awell as down.
sure if you want to disable the chance of any person wanting to be here just promote their site in their signature, then i am sure we can disable all BB code and aurto replace any [ . ] with a [ , ] but where would that help? so jean_pierre perhaps put a suggestion/vote in the forum that we disable all signatures if you feel it would help cut down spammers and questions on this topic.

Add a Signature?
I see all of these people with cool signatures that show a little bit about them, but can not find how to add it on this forum!
I found this question on the FAQ section, but it is not helpful at all.
How do I add a signature to my post?
To add a signature to a post you must first create one via your User Control Panel. Once created, you can check the Attach a signature box on the posting form to add your signature. You can also add a signature by default to all your posts by checking the appropriate radio button in your profile. If you do so, you can still prevent a signature being added to individual posts by un-checking the add signature box within the posting form.
It says nothing about where to go in the User CP to add the signature... I looked in all the subheadings and could not find it. Can somebody help?

Re: Add a Signature?
You can only add a signature when you reach a certain number of posts. If I'm not mistaken that number is 10.

Actually, the minimum number of posts has been increased to 25 recently...itoctopus wrote:You can only add a signature when you reach a certain number of posts. If I'm not mistaken that number is 10.

Re: Add a Signature?
You can easily check the number posts in your profile itself and once you reach to 25 posts then only it will allow to add the signature or third party urls.
