SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Could someone fix the issue with SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT appearing and an distorted layout when using the forum?

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
As with @sovainfo, I am having this same experience.
I've tried with several different web browsers—also on several different devices—and the problem seems to occur only with Firefox.
The problem is not only with the SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT message (screenshot below)
but also with the way that the forum's images are rendered (see below):
The problem seems to occur after login. Attempting to view any new posts produces this error more than 50% of the time. The problem has only surfaced in the past 48 hours. At first I thought I was alone with this problem but it appears that I am not.
I have not been able to reproduce this problem with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Safari. I have reproduced the problem on Win 7, Win 8.1 and Win 10 (but not on IOS). I have not seen this problem on any other Joomla website, just the forum and only after logging in.
It almost appears as if something is forcing the use of https (as this article suggests). Is Cloudflare involved?
My version of Firefox is 49.0.1. Advice please. Has someone changed something?

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
I have the same issue....some pages work others don't (or work sporadically), the forum loads but without its usually page styling, other times shows that error.
Same/similar thing in other browsers such as Opera, Chrome and IE11 (O/S is Win 7).

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Thanks for that, Andy. So it's not browser-related. If there's a CDN involved, it might have something to do with attempting to force https on a http-only URL. Perhaps?

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Firefox has problems with CA certificates, at least in my workstation, and that is why I use Chrome and have not seen the error message or distortion in the forum.
Perhaps the node of CDN used by forum.joomla.org is playing up Down Under.

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Two things, toivo
1) sovainfo reported this problem and, as far as we know, he doesn't live in Australia.
2) AMurray says the problem also occurs with Google Chrome (and Opera and IE11)
The problem is still ongoing. It may be related to CDN (that's just an educated guess based on the error message). Your interest in this issue is greatly appreciated, mate.

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Hi,
I had a look and I experienced the same, I found one of the settings which might have caused this, and it looks like it all is back to normal again. Please let me know if this error is still an issue for you.
Kind Regards
Olaf

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Thanks, Olaf. We'll let you know. I haven't seen any of these messages for the past 10 minutes so it's a bit early to tell. In the past half-hour the disruption occurred about 50% of the time doing screen refreshes and looking at the new posts. Time will tell.

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Great, yes, I have changed the setting about 15 min ago so it should be all fixed now.
Kind Regards

Re: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT
Dutch from the Netherlands, it appeared about a week ago. Experienced it also in Chrome after switching to it from Firefox. It didn't occur consistently, switched to Chrome for a longer time because it went away.
Currently back on FF and haven't seen it back.
Assuming it is fixed, thanks.

So far so good; looks as if you repaired the damage, Olaf. Thanks.
