Re: Discussion for Dynamic Tagging Across Content-types blog
Was I the only person to see the link or was I the only person that wanted to comment?
I just wanted to publicly thank everyone that worked on the tags components of Joomla making it more than just content tagging and building it into the core across everything.
Thank you Elin Waring and Mark Dexter for leading on it and getting it together. Wonderful stuff. I'm just going to go and update the podcast website to the latest and greatest now!

Re: Discussion for Dynamic Tagging Across Content-types blog
Hi!,
I would like to thank also, because i think the tags and multi-categories was a major feature that was missing in Joomla. Every CMS should have multi-categories or it wasn't a true CMS. I also so that Joomla is just not only a CMS but much more.
With this new feature "Tags" now i can really create and organize the info in various forms.
As an example, i had a problem doing a sports site because i needed to create menus that show a blog of content by location and another menu with same content but by sport. Now this permits to give the same content two tags and then i can create 2 menus.
Thanks for this major feature.

Where might I find "also provide developers tools to make their extensions responsive as well" mentioned in the blog post? Are you referring to http://www.joomla.org/3/en#dev bootstrap, less, and icomoon?

Re: Discussion for Dynamic Tagging Across Content-types blog
I don’t understand if I can’t find the option or is a missing feature: I see the new menu items under "Tags" category and the "Tagged items" gives as output a list of tagged items.
How can I get a blog of tagged items?
The best solution it my own opinion is to give to all the actual article "Menu Item Type" the ability to filer by tags, so I can chose for example to see a blog with all the items of a category and a specific tag.
The admin interface could be as the attached mockup.

Advanced options tab for "List of all tags" menu item has some basic options, but the solution I’ve suggested, could satisfy many situations extending the actual views and I think with a minimal development effort.Nick Savov wrote:Look in the advanced options tab

Good point, Teo! Are you able to code this feature and submit it for consideration? If so, send a pull request at https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms
