Post by astridx » Fri May 15, 2015 5:36 pm

Hello,
On the 12th of May there should be published a blog post with the results of vote and the next steps
http://community.joomla.org/blogs/leade ... ology.html
Where do I find this blog post?

I found it with the help of the German usergroup. GThe voting is not finished yet, that is why there is no blog up to now: https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!top ... X1YYLN3lKY

(I previously had counted one vote wrong; thanks to Michael for the correction. The rest of the post was edited to fix the extrapolation from that mistake.)

All votes are now in and the motion seems to have passed.

9 against
19 for

CLT:
-1 Isidro Baquero
-1 Guillermo Bravo
+1 Peter Bui
+1 Ruth Cheesley
+1 Alice Grevet
-1 David Jardin
+1 Dianne Henning
+1 Sander Potjer

PLT:
+1 Roland Dalmulder
+1 Chris Davenport
-1 Robert Deutz
-1 Jessica Dunbar
+1 Javier Gomez
-1 Thomas Hunziker
-1 Tom Hutchison
-1 Tessa Mero
-1 Viktor Vogel
+1 George Wilson

OSM:
+1 Martijn Boomsma
+1 Ronni Christiansen
+1 Victor Drover
+1 Jorge Lopez-Bachiller Fernandez
+1 Rod Martin
+1 Ryan Ozimek
+1 Saurabh Shah
+1 Joe Sonne
+1 Marijke Stuivenberg
+1 Sarah Watz

To pass, the vote required at least twice as many for, as against: "To adopt the motion, the votes in favor need to be at least twice as much as the votes against (two-thirds), ignoring the blank votes." 19 is more than twice 9 and is also (fractionally) more than 2/3rds, and so the motion (presumably) passes (as we await that blog post confirming). All that info is shown at @OP's (Astrid's) second link:

Nathan, you got the vote for Marijke logged incorrectly; she voted +1 which gives a 19-9 total. So, it did pass with a 2/3's majority (67.8%) and twice as many votes for the motion compared to against.

Argh, so I did indeed. I've now updated my post. Thanks.
