Class 'ParagonIE_Sodium_Compat' not found after moving website

Post by IrinoSayuri » Fri Dec 07, 2018 12:14 pm

Hey guys,
I moved my website to another hosting and I can't access my site now, the only thing I could get is this error:

Fatal error: Class 'ParagonIE_Sodium_Compat' not found in /xxx/libraries/vendor/paragonie/sodium_compat/lib/constants.php on line 6

Can someone please tell me what to do? I tried to google but found nothing...

Edit: of course I checked if all the files are where they should.

The missing class is defined in the file libraries/vendor/paragonie/sodium_compat/src/Compat.php. Get that file from the Joomla installation package and copy it to the server. If it turns out that more files are missing or corrupted, you may have to repeat the copy or reinstall.

You should also post the results from the Forum Post Assistant (FPA) by following the instructions from viewtopic.php?f=714&t=793531.

BTW, does the new site use the same version of PHP as the old one?
