Load a menu link in an article

Post by ivo756 » Sun Apr 11, 2021 5:20 am

I use K2 categories from a menu. The link that is generated is index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&layout=category. Can I load this link in an article, ie. the content of this link to show in the article?

Load a menu module inside the article.

??? You want to show one article within another?

You could do it with Articles Anywhere. https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... -anywhere/

(assuming what you mean is to "include" the content of one article into another. I don't know if it works with K2 article system....that may come with the Pro version rather than free version).

Otherwise, you can make text hyperlinks within an article to other menu items (if that's what you meant).

Short answer: no. J! is not like Wordpress. J! only loads one component at a time.

@AMurray's suggestion may be a solution, however. 8)

It's not possible in J!; you cannot load two components at one time in J!
