Can i use outside iframe html5 with Joomla3

Post by L00ncan » Thu Apr 15, 2021 1:53 am

I'm wanting to host Panorama .jpgs but just simple amounts but hosting many of them in a folder and it needs to be something lightweight and the Panorama section in Joomla is too big, heavy & bulky for what i'm looking for, i need a simple Panorama player like this https://pannellum.org/ where i can dynamically add simple1.jpg // panoramas are simple single .jpgs in essence. There's Many players for videos but none really for Panoramas :( was hoping i could load this simple panorama viewer but don't know if Joomlas allows it, its all rather confusing

- is it even possible?

But i don't know if Joomla will allow me, everyone keeps telling me its simple to host these lightweight player functions but it all looks rather complicated. Yet everyone keeps saying simple, confusing.

What "panorama section in Joomla" are you referring to?

Do you mean extensions such as these: https://extensions.joomla.org/tags/panorama/ ?

Hi. Take a look at this

Code: Select all

https://www.marzipano.net/
It is easily embedded in any web page. Including Joomla.

Yeah! its all bloat and bulky, all a Panorama is, is a simple jpeg yet very few players exist, i'm looking for a Panorama player like i could tag images [pan] .jpg [/pan]

And it would display my simple .jpeg, instead every CMS is over the top bloat for displaying a simple Jpeg. All a panorama is! is a Jpeg, i have loads in my folders yet no way to display them without over the top bloat that i can't use :(

I want to add nasa Panoramas all over my website but i need and want to host them , i want to be in charge. Thousands of Nasa Panoramas would be a neat project, i have the images but none players really exist, the over bloat ones will just die. Simple player for a simple jpegs, i already have the jpegs its only one image to play.

Hundreds/thousands of video players, no Panorama players

Whether you're using the Tiny MCE Editor, the JCE Editor or any other type of editor, you should enable oframe code first through the Global Configuration area.
