Login redirection on multi language site

Post by mandeepteja » Tue Oct 26, 2021 9:07 am

Hi,

https://www.dintek.com.tw/

I have 3 active languages on my site.
English (default)
Spanish
Chinese

When I select Spanish or Chinese and try to login after login it redirects me to English (Default) language page.

I want after login the language will not change.

System - Language Filter

Language Selection for new Visitors : Site Language
Automatic Language Change : No
Associations : No
Add Alternate Meta Tags : No
Remove URL Language Code : Yes
Cookie Lifetime :Session

Thanks

Hi mandeepteja !

On the last day I had the similarity problem. I'm solving from the menu link item type connection. in the "Options" tab choose the type of connection redirection: internal URL and save your connection redirection, for example I wrote: / fr /.
Repeat this action for each language from link item connection.

I hope this help you and let me know if work

Does the page the browser calls not depend on the default language of the browser?
What happens if you use 3 browsers each set with a different default language?

Hi !

The "Options" tabs, you access : menu> your menu> menu item (choose the link that has the type: "Users" Login form "), if your site is multilingual you have the menu item link for each language.

Hi Aidan38

I am very confused.

Client has used CB Login Module.
In menu item->user menu-> CB Login -> login option(tab) have Login Redirection URL which is empty and there is no option to select language.

In menu item->user menu-> Login -> Module(tab) have option Login Redirection Page and select language. But client is using CB Login Module.

Gtranslate is used to translate the content.

I can't find settings for different menu items for different languages.

If we do not create menus for each language, can we not redirect the login for the selected language?

Thanks

So if the browser default language is Spanish then your site directs you to the Spanish home page?

Yes when default language is spanish then it redirects me to spanish home page.

But if I choose Chinese my url is https://www.dintek.com.tw/zh-TW/index.p ... ystem.html.

when I login then it redirect me to https://dintek.com.tw/es/index.php/cate ... ystem.html (default lang),

After logging in, the customer needs to be in Chinese language.

Thanks
