Can't access site after extension updated

I updated a extension on the admin page for my website and now it says the server can't be reached and I can't access the site or the back end at all, I'm new to this entirely and don't really know what I'm doing I'm just trying to maintain our company's site while we are between website admins, so if you need more info or try to tell me what to do please make it as simple to understand as possible, sorry if this isn't the right place to put this bur please direct me to where I should be, Thank You.

Welcome to the Joomla forum!

Do you have a full backup from the time before the extension was updated?

Are there any error messages that you could copy and paste here?

what extension did you update?

what version of Joomla 3.x are you running?
