Hello,

Cookie management is required for EU GDPR (it's a law which allows users to accept or reject cookies and manage their use).

Many apps are available here: https://extensions.joomla.org/category/ ... e-control/

If your visitors come from the EU, then you have to get one of them.

There is a Plugin "Authentication Cookie" in Joomla. When this Plugin is Enabled, the user can thick the "Remember Me" option on the login form. It only applies to user that login to the site. The browser may login using the cookie when re-entering the site. The benefit of this feature is not great and will not work each time. The user still need to use it's password sometimes.

Or are you asking about PHP Sessions rather than Cookies?
