Re: menu items
The class SpacerField does not exist in Joomla 3.x. It was introduced in Joomla 4. Did you happen to install a third party extension that is not compatible with Joomla 3?

Re: menu items
hello
I remember that I installed the komento 4.0.7 component, which was written in the document that it is also compatible with Joomla 3.
After installation, I noticed the incompatibility and deleted it
Also, I haven't created a menu item in a while, and when I tried to create a menu item yesterday, I encountered this problem
I also put the error report on development
I encountered the following warning:
Warning: Cannot declare class \Joomla\CMS\HTML\Helpers\Sidebar, because the name is already in use in public_html/libraries/allediaframework/include.php on line 47

Re: menu items
The installation package of the paid third party extension Komento consists of a component, at least one module and a plugin. Did you uninstall the package, which would have uninstalled all the parts, or just the component?ghasedakgroup wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 8:29 amAfter installation, I noticed the incompatibility and deleted it
The plugin may have been left behind. Go to System - Manage - Plugins and disable and uninstall this plugin. Hopefully that will get rid of the error.

Re: menu items
From the extenssions management section, all items related to this extenssion have been deleted
But a few moments ago, when I was checking myaql, there are some records that are still available.
Also, thank you for telling me what the following error is for:
Warning: Cannot declare class \Joomla\CMS\HTML\Helpers\Sidebar, because the name is already in use in public_html/libraries/allediaframework/include.php on line 47

Re: menu items
The AllediaFramework is apparently used by extensions by JoomlaShack. Here is a topic from 2021 about a related error: Warning: [Joomlashack System Plugin] Alledia framework not found

Re: menu items
Check the compatibility of all third party extensions, especially plugins, from JED and the developers' websites. Post the results from the Forum Post Assistant (FPA), the link to the instructions is in the red banner area at the top of each topic.

Re: menu items
I removed the komento extension from the remaining database section
Then I disabled all the extension that I had installed and their number is very few and checked the menu item again
But the problem still persists
If you can solve the problem by checking the website, let me know
Because I was severely challenged
thanks

I run the script
But it didn't show me the report that shows what extensions are installed and said that Joomla ran without any problems
Shall I send you all the reports here?

Re: menu items
The FPA script needs to be run from the main Joomla folder, where the file configuration.php is stored.

Re: menu items
Write enable and edit the file configuration.php in the main Joomla folder. Make the following changes:
Those settings will add more details into error messages, including the name and line number of the PHP script where the error occurs. As long as the PHP extension Xdebug is enabled, the error message is followed by the PHP call stack, a list of functions preceding the error, which will help our volunteer Joomla experts to identify the root cause.
Code: Select all
public $debug = '0';
public $error_reporting = 'maximum';

Re: menu items
I had done it but it didn't work again
I have a firewall on my system, I even disabled it, saying it might be for him, but it didn't run again.
If this problem is not solved, I will lose a lot

Re: menu items
If you have a .htaccess file in the main Joomla folder, rename the file temporarily and try to run the FPA script again.

Hi toivo!
I ran the script again as you said, and I got this message:
Your site has many extensions installed, the post output exceededs the forum post limit. Please run the FPA twice and make two seperate posts/replies.
1. First run without the plugins selected
2. Run again with only the plugins selected
Tell me how to run once with the plugin and once without the plugin?

Re: menu items
Refer to the Runtime Options section of the FPA Administrator documentation which shows you how to select the "Plugins Only" so you can run the secondary report.

hi AMurray and toivo !
In order to fix the problem faster, what exactly do you need to check?
Is it enough to report only extenssions?

Re: menu items
What is the error? Is the file deleting itself unexpectedly? It may be to do with the file's timestamp date. In your FTP program you may need to set an option similar to "Preserve time stamp" (that is the option in WCP FTP). In Filezilla for instance that option is referred to as "Keep timestamps of transferred files".
See viewtopic.php?f=806&t=1009581 but also https://forumpostassistant.github.io/docs/admin-guide/
Please post back confirmin the actual problem you're now having with the FPA itself. (FPA has a dedicated sub-forum here for any questions: viewforum.php?f=806).
