Emails stopped suddenly in Joomla 3.10.11

Three email sending options are available in Joomla: PHP Mail, Sendmail, and SMTP. SMTP and PHP Mail are the most frequently utilized. I have Joomla 3.10.11 installed right now (I haven't migrated yet; I'll have to set aside some time to do so). Suddenly, emails aren't sending at all, and I have no idea why. We'll call the two sets of emails I have.

The Global Configuration has the option 'Send Test Mail'. Does that work?

Which mailer from the three options is this website using?
