Error www.mydomain.com refused to connect.

Post by AfricanDev » Thu Mar 21, 2024 7:11 am

Good day. I'm urgently seeking help on this issue. When i try to create a new menu or link an article or access my media file there is a pop up the reads www.mydomain.com refused to connect. i am currently using Joomla 3.10 running on php 7.2. I do understand that these are all outdated however i have other older sites still running on these conditions but do not have that issue. The only difference is that this site is on a plesk server which I have little to no knowledge on. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Joomla forum!

Could you check your browser console for errors?
e.g. Chrome > Inspect > Console.

Or see similar topics:

Someone had an issue because their configuration.php had a
public $live_site = 'example.com';
and when they changed it to
public $live_site = '';
the issue was solved.

Thank you for the suggestions. I had seen these suggestions and looked it up but my config file is fine. i also tried my .htaccess file and ther is nothing. I'm thinking it has something to do with plesk.
