Error:0 String could not be parsed as XML ... plz help

Post by DarKMaSk » Fri Aug 02, 2013 10:44 am

I was trying to install Jomsocial 3. 1st time it showed that the 'entuty size exceeds the limit and the installation failed. It could not be uploaded normally. Then I extracted all the files in a folder in the 'temp' directory of the server and from the extension manager, choose 'install from a directory' and point it to the directory where I extracted it. Then it installed beautifully. But at the end, when I pressed 'done' button, it showed this error and no thing is working in the back-end of the site.I refreshed the page and the jomsocial dashboard came up. I logged out and log in again and the site gave this error. now I am stuck. Nothing is working on the back-end. Please help.

As you have purchased JomSocial then you really should contact them directly for installation support - thats what you have paid for

Thank you Brian. But, what does this message means ? Can I know that ? Please don't tell me to google it. It will bring millions of web pages and I will be sunk in that. I am not a coder guy.
