New to Joomla - Sidebars

Post by johannesson » Sun Apr 23, 2017 3:08 pm

I am having a problem with a blank sidebar on my site. I would like the sidebar to contain the necessary menu items. How do I do that?

Thanks
James

What template are you using?

Enable Preview Positions Option in Template Manager. Then you can see where the positions are with adding tp=1 to url.

Have you published a menu module in the correct position?

Per, thanks for your response.

The sidebar states its position is off-canvas. We are provided a custom template so I am not sure how that might impact it. You can see the website at http://www.pminorthsask.com.

So how would I publish the menu options to that location? As well, I have the sidebar floating to the right and I would prefer it to the left.

Thanks
James
