There are over 1200 listings for the error "The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again." nobody has fixed this and no I don't have cache enabled. Joomla is broken don't use it its a waste of time.

It this all you have to say? You've wasted your time because this place is where you can get assistance so if you want help then please state your problem without ranting about Joomla or other products. You don't get help by ranting your showing your anger when the problem might be at your end on your server or your machine.

Yes I have received no help and I think at least 1200 people will agree with me I do not expect to get any help if I do it will be a miracle. An update that breaks your software is that really an update or perhaps a retrograde step? It shows a serious lack of concern. I'm entitled to rant considering the time I spent on my site only for it to be reduced to naught. At the very least a fix would be to revert Joomla back to its original state replacing the correct files with older versions. Joomla updates should come with a warning.

how about you update all your extensions before considering a core upgrade , to ensure that there are no conflicts causing your joomla to "doesnt work" and ask the other 1200 people why theres didnt.

We have hundreds of thousands of Joomla users and according to this OP we have 1,200 users who have the same problem (which is also a fluke statement) so @Jellobiafra what is your message? Just to create a negative image for Joomla (based on non-proper information)?

I've actually had that invalid token error myself. According to this link https://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/invalid-token/, the invalid token issue is a security feature (in the context of why it is triggered), not a fault, of Joomla.

I found in some instances, where I had had the invalid token show up, purging the session table will help "reset" the site so I can get back into the Administrator. It may be that you don't need to purge all records (since they represent logged in users), you can simply delete any relating to your specific login ID.

Aside from the original question, I have noticed a few other issues in the FPA report (not related to this question) but could cause other problems and some suggestions for solutions:

Max. Upload Size: 2M (increase to 30M)
Any future extension or core update package will be larger than 2M. The joomla package (full install or update packages) themselves could be anywhere from 10M-13M.

Max. POST Size: 8M (increase to 30M)

Max. Input Time: 60

Max. Execution Time: 30 (increase to 300)
This should allow sufficient time for scripts to execute without time-out errors.

Memory Limit: 32M (increase to any of the following: 64M/ 128M / 256M)
This should resolve the issue if you get 'out of memory' errors) 64M / 128M / 256M)

Note, current version is now 3.8.2.

With all updates, users are adviced to take backups of their files and databases. Did you do this?

In fact users should be doing regular backups of their site and database because hacking is a thing we can't avoid these days.
