Post by tuxon3 » Sun Feb 04, 2018 12:14 pm

Hello.
I update from the backend of my website joomla (from 3.6.? to 3.8.?). The update process has been satisfactory without errors, but when i try to visualize the website it show an error HTTP ERROR 500 (in the backend and frontend of the website).
I search information in internet abaut this problem but i dont know what to do, tried changing php versions from cpanel but dont work.
I attached an images that show the errors with more information (errors from frontend and backend).

Hi mabdelaziz, thanks for your answer.
I try it and it works but still being php error message in the webpage. When i enter at the backend shows a mensage that warn to use a php version higher than 5.4, i change php version from cpanel and now it works perfectly.
For someone that got the same problen i going to steps that i followed to solve this problem:
1-Upload this php file to the administrator directory of the website: https://gist.github.com/mbabker/d7bfb4e ... 3607f89281
2-Run php, using your internet explorer, by entering : <your website address>/administrator/postupdate.php
3-Change php version to 5.6 or higher
4-Delete php file from directory.

I am very grateful, thanks a lot ;)
