Missing Menu Items Joomla! 3.6.4

Hi,

I have made changes to our menu items and now I cannot find them in the menu items in the menu screens in Joomla. I have tried every filter option and cannot find it. Also some that I have added do show up on the menus, and some do not.

I don't understand what is going on and where the menu items are dissapearing to!

For starters, your system is out of date - 3.8.5 is the latest.

A link to the site and point out which menu items should be shown that are not.
What sort of changes - adding items or deleting, or just changing the actual menu title?

Are all the menus marked as "public". That is, if some are "registered" they won't be shown unless you're logged on.

It could also be you need to clear the browser and joomla caches.

But first priority - update to 3.8.5!
