There might be several approaches depending on precisely what you need ...

"loop through the articles" implies to me you want to apply changes to every existing article on your site...

It MIGHT be that you could achieve the layout you see via template overrides...

Can you be a bit more specific about what you have and what you'd like to end up with?
Don't HACK the Joomla! core, Instead "Extend" and/or "Override."
Stay ON the update path.

Which builder did you buy? Did it not come with a user guide or Help links?

There is plenty of information available about Joomla in general at the documentation site, starting from https://docs.joomla.org/Main_Page.

sounds like you are trying to use joomla as if it was wordpress. they are not interchangeable

Thanks for clarifying it. I thought it would be an easy transition from WordPress to Joomla!.

Well, basically I need a cms where I can add people and some fields in it (address, number, specialty etc.). I'm using Gridbox builder. But I don't want contents of my site to be all static. I don't want my end-users drag and dropping using the builder I bought. Thanks.

That's not really the *detail* @ranwilli was asking for - we need much more info.

Joomla is not static, it's dynamic......and I don't know what the Gridbox product is you're using (is it a Joomla product - an extension?) there is a "grid box" extension but it's on the vulnerable extension list (VEL).
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... n/gridbox/

If you don't mean the above, what is it specifically you are using? Do you mean this: https://www.gridbox.io/.

That's not a Joomla component, so probably won't work with Joomla (or at least difficult to integrate with it).

Until you can give us in depth detail of what you want to achieve (and even an example of your site). we can't really help further.

If Gridbox builder is a CMS in it's own right, then I don't believe your question belongs in the *Joomla* forum.

Gridbox is not Joomla, therefore I don't think it's relevant to this forum (any of them).

Gridbox is not as far as I cant tell a joomla extension or anything related to Joomla. There's another post from the OP on this same subject.

I did find a Joomla component called "Gridbox" but it's on the VEL.......and not recommended for use.
