This seems to be a serious and general problem. It has been most probably caused with the latest update to 3.9.4.
I get this error when trying to activate the contactus menu. I use Menutype as Contact company.
Please tell us what will be done to correct this and if you can copy the problem!

Please create your own topic about this and also post the results from the Forum Post Assistant (FPA) by following the instructions at viewtopic.php?f=806&t=969442, as recommended by @leolam above.

The FPA is required to give us volunteers more information about the configuration of the website, including the template and possible third party extensions, including their versions.

These two topics need to be kept separate, to facilitate meaningful discussion and subsequent advice.

No it isn't. It's a problem local certain sites and is probably caused by a 3rd-party extension (component, module, plugin and/or template) being incompatible with your Joomla version and/or PHP version.

Please post the FPA output for your site so you may receive advice targeted to yourself.
