Gap in user id's

Hi

I have noticed that all my user id's are in sequence then suddenly there is a jump from 782 to 4433 with no user id's in between. I have checked the users table and the usergroup_map tables and none of the ids in-between those are there. Is there a way to reset the auto increment to continue in order as i have search the complete db and cant find anywhere where this is possible or where the missing ID's might be (sorry can only do the basic's in the DB)

i dont think that you can change that and honestly... why bother??

The ID number doesn't really mean anything to the front-end user, and is really only used to identify the user in the background. They wouldn't be numerical since the Super User for instance uses a specific ID number, and not simply the next in sequence when you created it and also if you delete users, the remaining records are not re-sorted according to that user ID field.
