Take Extensions Off Lists After Manual Removal

I used Extensions Manager to uninstall a plugin that was giving me problems. When I did, the site went blank, both front and back ends. I restored the site from a backup, then deleted all related entries related to the plugin from the database, and deleted all folders and files installed by it. The site works fine now.

The extension still shows up in the lists in Extensions Manager. How can I make them go away? I'm afraid I might lock up the site again if I try to uninstall them. I don't want to leave them there because in a year from now I may not remember what I did.

Thanks for any help!

Usually white screen means a PHP related issue.

If you've removed every extension file manually from the site, you can use an application like PHPMyAdmin to remove the related database tables and entry from the Extensions table to remove all traces of it.

I had deleted the table related to that extension. However, in the extension table there were three lines that related to that extension. After I deleted those, the issue was gone.

Thanks for the help!
