E-mail obfuscation not working

E-mail addresses appear as a warning that Javascript needs to be enabled, but it is not blocked at the client. I will raise this with our hosting provider, but I bet they’ll want more details and I have no idea how this actually works.

Could it be caused by some security setting at the hosting company? Could it be a caching issue? Is there a particular script?

1) The Plugin obfuscate the address.

2) A JS Script at the client put the address back toghether.

Thanks for your reply. For some reason I don’t get notifications though they’re turned on.

The plugin is definitely enabled and it used to work fine.

I’ve tried different browsers and devices. I’ve made sure any kind of ad-blocking is switched off & tried switching off/clearing any caching. Another Joomla site I manage (same version, same hosting company) has no problem with it and this site didn’t a short while ago either.

Any other suggestions?

This is still a problem on the same site. Any ideas how I can diagnose this?

Javascript is not blocked, but the message which appears is the one you get when Javascript is blocked. Hosting support are fairly unhelpful (“can't see anything being outputted”). Not showing a contact address is fairly serious.
