when I validate my work it makes the transfer to the address that is online now
But by creating joomla I created a works folder, the address became

There is no need to reinstall Joomla! in the domain. Once created, Joomla! sites can be transferred to other directories or location. Once the files are transferred, you have to edit the file configuration.php to change the location of the log & tmp directories.

Review of the document https://docs.joomla.org/Moving_the_site_among_directories/sub-directories would be of help.

You might use Akeebabackup (free) to create a copy of your site and move it to the root and re-install it easy with the Kickstart program distributed by Akeebabackup.

Hi there,

As per previous advises, you can move the contents under sub-domain's directory to main domain's directory. Just you will need to make sure that the configuration.php file has the correct path where needed.

If you would like to re-install the Joomla on your main domain then you can use any good plugin for copying Joomla site from one directory to another.

Hope this will help you. :)
