Post by ilbadile » Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:02 am

Hello everybody,
I have an article with many .jpg images inside, these images are updated every X Time keeping the name.
How can I refresh only the article and not the template?
Currently I put in the template after head in index.php
<meta http-equiv = "refresh" content = "5">
it work but it's very bad the effect and in Google Chrome does not update me the images.
I'm not expert please could you put the example ?.

Thank's in advanced

If you change images but not the name then a browser (after its first visit to your site) will use its cache to display the image. This will result in the visitor seeing the same image each time not the new one. You could use an image gallery to rotate images or an extension to change the background image.
