database problems

Our site has al kind of database related problems causing pages not indexed, invisible captcha not working, 404 page not showing and 404 incidents not logged etc etc.

I cannot find a solution for it so I was thinking.

If i start a new joomla site with an new clean database and I incorporate an Akeeba backup from the old site in the new site.

Would I then import the old problems in the new site or is there a good chance on success?

Almost certainly.

Are you able to log in to /administrator? If so then have you looked at:

1. Extensions > Manage > Database.
Is anything showing? If so, have you clicked the "Fix" button?

2. Extensions > Manage > warnings
Anything reported?

The database has no warnings

The warning only mention php temporary folder not set

I need the help of the hosting provider to fix that. Can it be a real problem?

they old database gives you problem so when you make a backup with akeeba you import also the problem in your new site.

Hello Koos,

they old database gives you problem so when you make a backup with akeeba you import also the problem in your new site.

Your site is slagkracht-......? When i go to the backend I come on a white page!

The back end white is correct. There is a plugin active that makes the back end only accessible if you know were to find it. That was done on purpose.
Did you have a special reason for mentioning this?

No it doesn't. Use Akeeba to copy your site to localhost (wamp on your PC) ... don't forget to edit out the livesite value. Once you have done that ... post back and you will get instructions how to fix your site. Don't forget to fix he server problems as well.

Why the session path is non writeble? I don't know. Do you have an Idea what trouble it could cause?

I know the public live site should be " ".
Our host has put the website address in it because after the installation of this new site (then 3.8.10) we had this issue: klicking on a menu item we got the corresponding page but in the browser stood this address:
www.slagkracht-outsourcing.nl/slagkracht-outsourcing.nl/index.php

The host solved this problem with the public $live_site

I guess he solved the problem and introduced new ones? Do you have an idea what could have been re real problem that should have been solved?

No. two single apostrophes with a semi colon not two quotation marks and a full stop (period)
Move the site to wamp localhost and fix it there. wamp will provide a good platform and rule out server error/misconfiguration.

There is much wrong with your Host server configuration.

I copied the site to my PC using Xampp. Wamp is not available this weekend :-(

I saw many php errors caused by fast social share so I disabled that plugin.

No ,what should I do next? :-)

On pc localhost I cannot test the recaptcha function. Google does not give keys for localhost.

That's a good idea :-) Thank you Ron,

In the mean time the indexer from 'smart search' is still running (an hour now) om my pc copy of the site. I am curious if it comes to an end or if it hangs like it did on life site at yourhosting

The indexer from Smart Search does on my PC the same as it did on the official site. It exexes all catagories and 79 articles and then nothing happens anymore but it should find more then 300 articles.

The screen remains als the picture shows (do not close this)

Thank you Webdongle, You give me suggestions I did not Know until now.

Unfortunately, so far no succes.

Reinstall core files: Done that. No updates. Reinstalled core file Worked fine but, Problems remain.
Discover:

Discover extensions that have not gone through the normal installation process.
No Matching Results

I am open for further suggestions. Tomorrow I first call the hosting provider
