yes you can and no you cant.
the only sure why not to show "determined" people you are using joomla is to not connect it to the internet.

a multitude of website scanners will tell you what the site is built on or just look at the source code.. and no you cant disable right click as people can disable the disable right click script.

* If you look at the source code of the site, there's nothing identifying PHP as the development language - all you see is HTML, CSS, Javascript.

The source code does reveal things that tell you that Joomla was used e.g. the meta generator tag; this can be suppressed using a plugin such as https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... generator/.

There are other ways to identify joomla from source code e.g. looking at template being used, or the folder/file structure etc so there's no foolproof way to avoid it being identified as Joomla.

* Akeeba Admin Tools allows you to change the /administrator folder name but it is **not recommended or supported** and may break your site.

The more important thing is to keep your site up to date with the latest Joomla and extension releases, and use a decent hosting service.

What kind of trouble do you have with your site - spamming registrations, or hacking attempts?
