Error You have tried to upload file(s) that are not safe

Post by kmchen » Mon Jul 04, 2022 8:30 am

Hi, I can't upload a 13,6M zip file via the backoffice content > media menu.

Joomla says:
Error You have tried to upload file(s) that are not safe.
I uploaded succefully another zip file of 5,96M in the same directory.

my php related parameters are:

Code: Select all

post_max_size	512M
upload_max_filesize	512M
memory_limit	128M
The version is 3.10.10 and there are no third part extensions.

Any idea appreciated

You need to increase the max upload size.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Is the MIME type defined as allowed - additional to the allowed extensions?

e.g.:

application/octet-stream
multipart/x-zip
application/zip
application/zip-compressed
application/x-zip-compressed

(reference: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/723 ... r-zip-file)

It's probably a false positive. Not much to do here except to modify the archive in any way and try again.

There is no Joomla "staff" here. If you want answers from core developers, open an issue on the issue tracker. This issue has been raised before but as usual it went nowhere.
