Toolbar buttens and headers not displayed correctly Topic is solved

Hi,
Since a couple of days I noticed that my buttons and headers in Joomla 3 are not displayed correctly.
Instead of the green New button, it now shows JTOOLBAR_NEW.
Also components show this strange behaviour (see screenshot of iCagenda), the date/time is no longer displayed and replaced by DATE_FORMAT_CALENDAR_DATETIME.
Anyone who have an idea on how this can be solved?

Welcome to the Joomla forum!

The language constants shown in the screenshot reside in the file administrator/language/en-GB.ini. That file may have got corrupted or it has been moved by accident to a different folder or deleted. If you cannot find a copy, download an installation package for the version of Joomla 3 you are using and extract it from there.

If more language constants are displayed for examply by third party extensions, you may have to restore the website from a previous backup known to be working into an empty folder and a new database schema.

Thanks for your support! When I restored the en-GB.ini file from a backup, the buttons and headers were displayed correct.
