Joomla newb needs help - Sidebar moved to middle

Post by joshuatrudell » Tue Mar 26, 2024 3:13 pm

Hi everyone,
Admitted Joomla newb here. Working on a 3.10.12 site. The template has a sidebar, but all the content from it has now moved to the bottom of the main content area.

I've Googled a few possible solutions, but most of them reference module changes. When I start following the instructions, I'm not seeing the options that get me to where I can change the position of the module.

So, I'm looking at four potential options:

a) Joomla 3.10.12 is so far out of date that it needs to be upgraded before anything will work properly
b) Some permissions I need to have added to my administrator account
c) Something else
d) I'm a dunderhead and I'm missing something obvious.

Suggestions?

Thanks @gws - unfortunately, that was a JoomlaShack template and they've stopped supporting it. I'm going to try moving the content to the left rail and see if we can make that work.

We're moving the site to Wordpress, but it's broken now and I'm trying to patch it together until we can launch the new site.

I moved the content to the left rail, which worked. The sidebar2 position is still stuck at the bottom of the page, though. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point.

Good luck with that.
