Can someone please tell me why the Image upload link has dissappeared?

In Articles - Images & Links there are fields for Setting the Main Image and Intro image. Both normally include a select and upload buttons. These have vanished.

Joomla 3.10.12

I know this has nothing to with the Joomla version as other sites I have are fine.

I thought I should add, it doesn't appear to be a permissions issue or an issue with the admin template. Both Hathor and Isis produce the same result.

Problem solved.

It appears to have been an issue with the JCE editor extension. They have addressed the issue in their latest update today.
