[Solved]Lost top and right menu of my super user admin page

Hello and thank you for your time.

I have lost the top menu and the left menu of my administrator page with the "Super Users" account!
But not with the administrator account!?

Note that I modified the label "Super user" into "Administrateur système". With the Administrator account it has been possible to rename this level of access... but always the same pb!

So, if it causes the same problem every time... why do you keep doing it? :)

I see a button to toggle sidebar, which is nonstandard. Since you have nonstandard components in your administrative area, they could easily be part of the problem.

If you are not able to troubleshoot the problem via whatever extension that is,

- Edit the Isis settings (if that's still Isis) to hide the header, and adjust where the sticky bar is.
- Clear your Admin cache (System -> Clear Cache -> see Administrator in sidebar menu -> check all and delete) and also Purge Expired Cache, and clear your browser cache.

Or rather simply, it could be that you turned-on the Collapse Menu option, and need to turn it off. However that does look like glitchy behavior (in addition to a nonstandard or heavily customized admin template).

If none of this helps, see the FPA link in the box at the top of the page.

On the internet (after using the right English words :), I discovered this is a "current" issue.
I think I have resolved the trouble by an intervention in the database.
I modified the "super user" name, access level and access group label and after that I lost the menu. I tried to go back to the initial settings but I thing I confused "super user" and "super users" label.
I corrected this in the database and the pb is gone!
Lessons learned:
1) Never modify the existing super user account.
2) Create a second super user account in case you are in trouble with the first one :)

Hi NathanHawks,
Thank you for your feedback and idea about using another administration template.

Thank you again

Cordialement - José, France.

Suggest to create an administrator and use that for normal work in the backend. Only use Super user when needed.
