g providers with "Autoinstallers" sets up Joomla 3.X with jos_ prefix which does not help much.

Please clarify this statement since it is not clear for me? You refer to Softaculous and co?

Exactly. Well when i received Joomla sites already done either on 2.5 or 3.X, when i was doing backups i found out that prefix was still jos_. After seeing this I opted to upload the installation myself despite the hosting has its installer.

@Leolamn perhaps miss-read the last post date as October 12, 2019, not 2018.

When the topic is inactive for a Year exactly the timestamp can get tricky and you don't notice that was of the last year. Happens me often on the spanish forum.
