Contacts disapeared

Joomla 3.8, contact not shown in admin/component, however when I type directly in my browser: administrator/index.php?option=com_contact, I get the contact.
I checked the manage/contact, it is fine, it seems that the admin /component menu is corrupted, how can it be fixed? if not, how can I fix this problem.
ps. I found in this forum few problems similar to mine, but the solutions used was not clear to me, or require writing codes, and this is out of my skills.
