Articles category changes

I have tried on 3.8.7 and 3.8.8 and 4.0
Add the blog sample data go to the article category , try to rename blog to news can change name
Go to front end click on an article the link shown still has blog in it.
Do a new category and rename it the link in front end changes

found that having a menu link in another menu named blog was the problem. disabling it did not change anything had to delete it then go in to trash delete it there, then breadcrumb link showed the correct category name
