Can't switch off navigation and pagination in articles with pagebreak

Hi there,

I got a problem with hiding pagination and navigation buttons in an article with multiple pagebreaks. Although I switched all the settings to "hide" in menu, article options, article shared and article, both pagination and navigation won't dissappear in frontend.

Did I miss something or is it a bug?

Using Joomla 3.8.8.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

What template are you using? Have you tried with Protostar?

You can remove the navigation and pagination by simply choosing hide for "Content Item Navigation" in your global configuration. Just look in the content tab.
