Can't log into my account

Hi all,

I'm at my Joomla administrators log in screen, have entered my username and password, but when i click login the page doesn't move forward from that point. Can anyone help?

This may not be a case of user credentials being correct......

@kamacalm,
1) is there any indication from the browser, that the page is trying to load (bottom left corner might say something like "waiting for......."); or

2 )Is there no response from the mouse click on the Login button a t all?; or

3) Are you seeing invalid password/username errors?

If (3) then Per Yngve Berg's response is the one to follow

(1) or (2), I am not sure how to resolve.

If you can clarify then we can move forward with other suggestions.
