Front End Editing

I can no longer access the front end editor . I am using the Venture template.
Is it possible I disabled the option?
I recently took over editing of the website.

You need to be logged in as a user higher than a "registered" user. Something like editor/publisher/Manager/Administrator/Super user.

What type of access do you have - I assume you have super user access, which means you can log in as that user in the front end, which should present the edit icon for modules or articles.
