Resend Email with link verification

Hi,

is it possible in any way to send again the email with the link for email verification after user registration?

I found on JED a old plugin (not updated). But it seems to me that such a usefull function should be in Joomla Core.

Am I missing something?

Is this the old plugin you mentioned: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/regreminder/

It would say its close to what you were asking for, but as you say,not updated in 3 years and doesn't used the joomla update functionality and as far as I know there's no 'resend activation' option in the core system
