How to specify ordering of results of tag search?

If I create a menu item for Tags and then click on one of the tags in the front end while viewing that menu item how can I sort the resulting list of articles? I would like to sort them by date created.

When I look at the Tags component I see that I can sort the tags themselves by title, date, etc. but there are no switches in there to control the order of the output after clicking on a tag. Is there any way to control this?

See Order and Direction options in Tagged Items tab.
