Modules ruining bootstrap layout

Post by Yototoyoto » Tue Mar 12, 2019 5:12 am

Hi - I am running various sites using Joomla 3.x.
On all these sites, I have the following problem when I use my smartphone:
when I want to fill something in the search field, or a field in any other module (i.e. a contact form), the input field gets very wide so that is hard to fill in text or even find the OK button.
How can this problem be solved?
Any help would be appreciated.

Are your template Bootstrap 2 driven?
Try with Protostar.

Thanks for your help.
For all three websites, I changed the default template to Protostar.
There was some improvement - the fields I had to fill in more or less stayed between the 'edges of the smartphone', if you get what I mean, but they still did not fit in very nicely.
What does this mean?

It's an issue with your template and/or the content of the module is not responsive.
