Joomla 3.9.6 dashboard login problem

I have lost the possibility to log into the Dashboard in Joomla 3.9.6. The plugins are OK, the password is correct. The Administrator log in page does not redirect to the dashboard, and no log entries are added. It is possible to log in to the frontend as the superuser.

Please, help to solve this problem.

More information required. Please post the results of the Forum Post Assistant (FPA) by following the instructions from viewtopic.php?f=806&t=969442.

You can also set the level of error reporting to 'maximum' by editing the file configuration.php.

Thank you. We have solved the problem. If the index.php is redirected to the domain name, the dashboard become unreachable.

That does not sound right, or was the redirection done in the .htaccess file in /administrator?
