Problem with Menu items

we have 2 problems that are probably related to:

1)Menu items and css classes

We have a problem with menu items and associated classes.
We have the menu "Main Menu" with one menu element associated to a joomla article and another menu "Menu Ăšltimos presupuestos" with one menu element that is an alias to the "Main Menu" element.
When we add a css class name to the alias element, then it is added too to the configuration of the other element (associated to the article).
This problem is only in the administration section. In the frontend works correctly and the menu item of the "Main Menu" doesn't show that css class.

2) Menu type module doesn't let us asocciate separators or alias

When we are creating a menu module we can't select another item (menu header or alias) but an article menu element.

Any help would be very appreciated.

The images are not available. Rather than hosting them in some online service, it would be better to attach the screenshots as files and display them inline.

Wouldn't the Administrator menu module work on a separate set of CSS files, associated with the admin template? They won't be the same as the front-end.

I probably haven't understood the question, but is the above a valid point? (Anyone...?).

Thanks for your response.

I may not have explained myself well.

Regarding to the second point,

I'm trying to show only a part of a menu in a module.

I'm trying to choose like a base menu item a header type element or a separator type element but I can't. I can only select a menu item associated to an article.

I did this before but now it is not possible.
