Media Manage Takes Long To Load
I have JomSocial on my site. The software places images for groups and their events in the default images folder. Every time an event is created within a group, a new folder is created. Every time a user is created, a folder is created. This is fine. BUT for whatever reason, the Default Joomla Media Manager displays ALL folders and their subfolders in Media Manager's Media Folders Tree. As my site has grown, the media manager is taking up a lot of time, not because of the contents of the images folder, but because it is taking time to retrieve a list of all folders. How can I get the Joomla Media Folder to only show the folders in the active directory?

@mjparadac Thank for the reply. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out. Hopefully I'm heard by the devs and they can patch it so that not ALL the folders and subfolders are displayed. all we need is top-level and navigate through there.

The media manager takes a snapshot of your filesystem. If you have suggestion to improve the media manager feel free to post a suggestion at https://issues.joomla.orgDanHouston wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 10:22 pm@mjparadac Thank for the reply.
